McCaughan Photography For the last decade McCaughan Photography has photographed many of Nova Scotia’s premier Conventions and Major Sporting events.  Quality services and commitment to customer satisfaction are two major reasons for the success of this company . McCaughan Photography is owned and operated by Brad McCaughan and his wife Carolyn McCaughan. The business carries an extensive line of photography equipment to handle various projects from large group photos of 300 people, to Polaroid shots, to digital slide shows. McCaughan Photography provides competitive rates tailored to each client’s particular needs. Examples of some of the annual events covered by McCaughan Photography include the Du Maurier Jazz Festival, the Danny Gallivan Golf Tournament, the Progress Club Celebrity Dinner, and the Auburn High Graduation.   Brad McCaughan Professional Photographer     Brad majored in Photography and minored in Art History at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.   He interned at Polaroid’ s famous 20x24 Studio in New York City in 1989, working with Timothy Greenfield-Saunders, Joyce Tennison, David Leventhal and John Reuter.   Worked on projects in San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, and Ghana Africa, before returning to Nova Scotia to establish McCaughan Photography in 1990. In 1995 Brad joined Eastlink Television and co-hosts the very popular “Harv’s Sportsland” with Harv Stewart and Cecil Wright. Brad currently enjoys managing McCaughan Photography as well as lending his speaking talents as an Auctioneer or as Master of Ceremonies to various events such as the Halifax Brier in 2003. Carolyn McCaughan Professional Photographer   With a background in Sales & Marketing, Carolyn completed an IT Solutions program at Saint Mary’s University in 1998, giving her the digital skills to join McCaughan Photography full time. With digital photography, Carolyn has helped the company by expanding services and products, and keeping McCaughan Photography up to date with the latest technology. Carolyn has enjoyed working with Brad in providing both regular format and digital photography services for hundreds of clients including convention planners, charity events, sporting events, and weddings. Engineering an Engagement Photo session or Family Portrait has been her specialty!
